Superintendent Don Coker recognized Boley Elementary School Crosswalk Guard Jenipher Kigerl at a recent Board Meeting. Jenipher, who works for the West Monroe Police Department, is well-known throughout the Boley community as she greets students every morning in the crosswalk leading to the school. In March, Jenipher suffered injuries when she was struck by a vehicle during her morning duties. Everyone was relieved that Jenipher’s injuries were minor, and she is expected to make a full recovery. Dr. Coker presented Jenipher with a spring plant and an appreciation certificate for her dedication and support of Boley Elementary students and staff.
