Charles Wright named Louisiana Principal of the Year Finalist

Charles Wright, Principal of Ouachita Junior High, was recognized at the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion as a Finalist in the Louisiana Principal of the Year awards competition.  Mr. Wright was honored locally in October as the Ouachita Parish Middle School Principal of the Year, and continued on to compete at state level. As a finalist, he will be vying for Louisiana Principal of the Year which will be announced in July.

Mr. Wright has been with Ouachita Parish Schools since 1997, serving as teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal, all at Ouachtia Junior High School. Ouachita Parish is proud to celebrate Mr. Wright, a very deserving recipient of this recognition!  Congratulations!!
